Metro Thames Valley Housing

Metro Thames Valley Housing contracted Sureserve Fire & Electrical to deliver work to strict specification and with a very short lead time, installing Fire Alarm Systems to 16 blocks of flats. The rapid nature of the installations was to ensure fire compliance and satisfactory levels of safety to all residents, with only 72 hours available to carry out the work.

Due to the time sensitive nature of the work, NFCC guidance was utilised to achieve full evacuation on a block by block basis, with remote signaling to a waking watch hub. Sureserve Fire & Electrical resolved challenges to the delivery of work such as rapid access to parts and labour by mobilizing all operational systems with very short notice.

The contract was successfully delivered and even after a change of client scope mid-way through the delivery, all objectives were delivered to expectations.
