Working with K&T Heating, part of the Sureserve Group, London and Quadrant achieved a major milestone recording 100% gas safety compliance for its South East and Thames neighbourhoods, covering more than 14,200 homes in Greenwich, Bexley, Dartford and the Medway towns.

It is a legal requirement for landlords to carry out an annual safety check on all gas appliances and flues. However, gaining access to people’s homes is a real challenge for landlords and contractors and some residents do not wish to commit to an appointment or allow strangers into their homes.

We work closely with the local community and take time and care to build positive relationships with local people. Our efforts in this area make a big difference and help us ensure landlords remain compliant with their legal obligations. More importantly, we are able to help ensure the safety of their tenants.
